Dear Valued Customers,
You may already be aware that employees of Canada Post commenced strike action on May 22, 2025. As a result, services provided by our bank that rely on Canada Post, such as the mailing of account statements, credit card statements, and cheques, will experience delays.
To minimize the impact of this disruption, we kindly recommend the following measures:
- To access your account information in a timely manner, please use our Online Banking or Mobile Banking services to review your transaction history or pay bills;
- To avoid payment delays and for added convenience in your daily financial activities, we encourage you to designate your Bank of China (Canada) account or credit card as your pre-authorized debit account;
- To avoid delays in receiving cheques by mail, please register for direct deposit services with your employer, insurance company, or relevant government agency using your Bank of China (Canada) account;
- If you require a paper statement, you may visit any of our branches to obtain a copy in person.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the Canada Post strike and are making every effort to mitigate its impact on our customers.
